Sometimes people ask me how long it takes for one version to be done. The answer is…! It depends.
Now, I’m going to get this out of the way, since there’s no point in not saying it. Pokemon Rejuvenation already has around 11 badges in total. So why are there only 3 badges out now? Well, that’s because Pokemon Rejuvenation was never meant to be released.
It was more of a project that I would make for my friends. After I played Pokemon Reborn (Which is amazing) I realized that I wanted to do something similar, so I did! Eventually my friends told me how much they enjoyed it. I enjoyed it too! So that’s when I took the initiative to release version 1.
Now, here’s where it get’s tricky. Like I said, Pokemon Rejuvenation is pretty much half way done at this point. So why delay it anymore than it already has? Quality.
When regarding quality, I always had it in mind, even when I wasn’t going to release the game, but there were some things I left unchecked because I knew my friends weren’t going to care. It was just something for them to play. However, now that I am in the process of (slowly) releasing each episode…. I have to take other things into consideration. Quality is the most essential aspect.
So why have versions been taking forever? Essentially (pun intended) it’s me going back and tweaking everything. Redoing graphics, dialogue, locations, battles, you name it.

People who’ve played the game before will know this obvious Koga clone to be called Keta (Yeah I know, BIG name change there, Jan.) He is the second Gym leader who specializes in fighting types. I didn’t take part in editing him too much because again, the game was for my friends initially.
Fortunately for Keta, MTV arrived at his doorstep and announced that he had won a spot on their new show Pimp My Everything.
After a few rejections, tears, bloodshed, and in depth interventions, Keta came out to look brand new….

Yep, this is he. The same Gym leader located in Sheridan. More like Sheridamn what the heck happened to you?
However, Keta wasn’t the only person who recieved a makeover

Venam, one of the most popular, and well known characters in the game. Why is that? It’s because she’s a force to be reckoned with. She herself received a well deserved makeover. I mean, look at those freakin’ diamonds on her head. Really?

Viola. Probably still not the best sprite ever, but it’s darn well better than what she had before .
But people aren’t the only things to be changed in Rejuvenation…. oh no, much more has changed. You’ll just have to play to see the differences! That’s all I had to bring to the table as of now, but worry not, Version 3 is almost here….
